Unauthorized secondary suites which are not yet registered through the City’s Secondary Suite
registration process, but which have been given notice by the City that they must be inspected
and registered in accordance with the Zoning Bylaw shall be given six months from the date of
the notice to meet the requirements of the Zoning Bylaw for secondary suites.
Secondary suites which have voluntarily applied for registration but which are deficient in some
manner shall also be given six months from the date of the initial inspection to complete the
required work.
